Hallo everyone and goood evening. >.<
Today I was searching through my iTunes to find the perfect song. (which, mind you, is quite a task with the number of songs I possess) Hopefully I've found just the right one...by the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, "Little Shadow".
From the album "It's Blitz!" this song is featured originally and acoustically. Both versions are good, but I have the original linked for you. I particularly admire the vocals in this song, mostly because Karen O has an amazing voice to begin with. The chords just bring that out and complement the instruments.
All in all a sweet song, with few lyrics that leave the listener to interpret any way they like. I think of it as a lonely song...but as I said interpretation is up in the air. Maybe more mellow than rock...but hey, we all could use a little variety (;
